Though not a fan of calling it a 'first date' (I personally see it as meeting someone to see if we connect or not), anybody have ideas for a cool first date? Which could be framed as inviting them along to something.
I'll start: Urban exploring! As in, exploring an abandoned building/half-constructed building/hard-to-find spot (there's a few cool places in the city, ask me if you want specific locations). I've found this quickly filters out the non-curious and possibly non-courageous girls.
Also, anybody know any places in the central Auckland which serves herbal tea quite late at night? Ideally near Sandringham/Mt Eden or in the city? I love late night tea sessions

Oo just thought of another i haven't done in ages., play ground hunting! finding playgrounds and, err, playing on it. I like doing this at night. And also bringing portable speakers and playing 90s boy band music and getting all nostalgic.

Going to the supermarket, buying ingredients, then going back to your place to cook dinner

Low investment idea - going to the library to join you for a reading sesh (if you're into going to libraries and reading). Library could be replaced with coffee shop, park, etc

These are awesome ideas bro, very low key and so far away from the traditional high pressure dinner and drinks.
Another one I'd suggest is going to a market and 'window shopping'

A new one I discovered on the weekend - dancing on a deserted beach (I went to Bethels)
